The other night my wife and I called in a pickup and carryout order from our local Sizzler. Much to our disappointment the meal was not very appealing. I had ordered a 4oz sirloin (eastern-charred) well-done and my wife got the Hibachi Chicken. So it was quite surprising when we got it home to bite into the steak seeing pinkish-red meat and detecting undercooked chicken as well. Not to mention the garlic-bread/toast was not put into the go-box. It blows me away how much inaccuracy goes on in the fast-food and restaurant industry these days. What’s the purpose of having a ticket order printed out if the prepped, cook & server aren’t going to read it for the specifics? And even if that were the case, there should always be a last and final checking everything over by comparing the order slip to the end result or finished outcome.
