Where to start?
1) Distracted and uncaring hostess, frustrated with our questions.
2) Apparently you have no senior discounts…and seniors cause hostesses to roll their eyes…(BTW, we were the only people in line at the time, there were 3 staff members talking/joking around, and we felt rushed and minimized by them. I am disabled and tired of being disrespected.)
3) Steaks not as shown on menu.
4) Steaks not cooked to order.
5) Waitress disappeared.
6) Male Manager running after employee and dressing him down in front of all customers.
7) Greasy Cheese Toast. (and still no waitress)
8) No coffee refills (waitress?)
9) What was planned as a nice dinner to finish off the year became the WORST dining experience of the last 10 years!
10) We wasted $63.58. That tasteless greasy, raw for my wife and dry for me dinner should be repaid to us in full.
11) We do not want another meal at the 3416 Dale Rd, Modesto Sizzler.
12) I request that the Regional Manager applies Corrective Actions in his area.
to whit:
A) Staff Training and proper supervision (duties and responsibilities of Host/Hostess, Waitresses, Supervisor/Manager, and cooks.)
B) Food preparation that matches the advertised photos. It is not an excuse that it was busy.
C) Staff reprimands must be handled off the main floor.
D) Plan better for busy days.
E) The focus of your restaurant should be the Customer AND the Customer’s Experience.
F) This was our first experience at being at a restaurant that has such a disparitive environment towards the customer.
I plan to send these notes onward. I will speak with a senior representative of the regional Management, but not with this location’s Manager.
I am very sorry to hear about your experience. Definitely call the corporate number at (949) 273-4497. Ask for Customer Service.
My group goes to this location on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day every year. We have never had a problem with this store. I will continue to go there. There is a senior menu which I get every time. Just ask. We have never had a problem with the wait staff either. They show up and give us refills when it’s needed. Maybe it was the time of day this person went.
