My son and I went to the Sandy Sizzler. My son had the Steak and Lobster and the Lobster was terrible. He complained on-line. When they called I took the call and told them about our experience. We were promised a $30.00 gift card. That was at least 2 weeks ago and we haven’t received it. Bonnie and Terry Headley
Craig, our waiter on March 29, 2019, was expert and excellent. We just wanted to give him high praises and kudos on a public forum. How nice if every waitress or waiter had great skills like Craig.
I took myself my mom and my dad whom has stage 4 cancer to get him a nice steak to eat. He usually loves going there to eat which was on the 26th of June. We ordered two steak dinners and the half ribs for my mom and the were HORRIBLE! The steaks were dry and tasteless, my mothers ribs were way dry and overcooked and had hardly and sauce on them. We were all very disappointed because our dinner there is usually amazing. My mom and dad are in their 80’s and I felt extremely bad for them. We have enjoyed going there and eating for several years. It was really hard on me to see how disappointed my parents were. My dad doesn’t have much time left and to see the sadness in his face just broke my heart. Our waitress was extremely apologetic and felt bad. The only thing that mattered to me that day was to have a nice meal and to have my elderly parents enjoy their meal which they did not. I hope that maybe one day again when I chose to take them again it will be better but I’m not sure if I’m willing to take that chance again.
My daughter, granddaughter and I went to this Sizzler yesterday. We all got the steak, shrimp and chicken special with the salad bar.
My steak was not cooked medium rare as I requested,even the managers that I talked to agreed that it wasn’t medium rare.and it was half the size of both my daughter’s and granddaughters. My daughters was cooked perfectly and she requested medium rare also. Please explain why it is impossible for me to receive a medium rare steak that isn’t so small?
Also I was unwilling to get a salad on the salad bar because not only was the spinach wilted most of the items on the salad bar looked like they had been there forever and looked old. I was thoroughly diagusted with the low quality food that was available, and especially considering the prices that are charged!
It’s doubtful that I will ever return to Sizzler since every one I’ve been to has never cooked my steak medium rare as I have requested.
I was unable to put a rating on my review but if I could, and if it were possible, my rating would be negative 10!
